The cast for the first-ever audiobook adaptation of Neil Gaiman's graphic novel The Sandman has been announced, and it's a star-studded group.
Leading the cast is James McAvoy as Dream, a god-like man held captive for 70 years by an occultist. Opposite McAvoy is Kat Dennings, who will be voicing the iconic role of Death.

The expansive cast of this highly-anticipated audiobook also includes Riz Ahmed as The Corinthian, Taron Egerton as John Constantine, Samantha Morton as Urania Blackwell, Bebe Neuwirth as The Siamese Cat, Andy Serkis as Matthew The Raven, and Michael Sheen as Lucifer.

This adaptation is narrated by Gaiman himself and directed by Dirk Maggs, who also helmed audio adaptation of Gaiman's Stardust and Good Omens.

The first installment of this audio series will encompass volumes one through three of the popular graphic novel, and will be available on Audible on July 15th. The audiobook is available for preorder today.
