Last night, the final trailer dropped for the next installment in the Star Wars saga. This latest look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi features familiar faces like Rey, Poe, Finn, Leia, and Luke, as well as a few new ones. It also alludes to a surprising possible alliance between Rey and Kylo Ren. Check out the trailer below, and buy your tickets for the December 15th release. Then share your reactions to the trailer in the comments!

This look at the film reveals more of Luke than we saw in the entirety of The Force Awakens. After years of isolation on the planet Ahch-To, Luke is reluctant to train a Jedi as powerful as Rey, fearing she may turn to the dark side. Rey is desperate for someone to help her understand her burgeoning power, and the trailer implies she may seek the aid of The First Order's Kylo Ren.

But perhaps that's just what Rey wants Kylo to believe (or even what Disney wants audiences to believe). As Luke— who seems to have become quite the Debbie Downer—warns, "This is not going to go the way you think."

Other notable moments from the trailer include an epic fight between Finn and Captain Phasma; a bittersweet shot of the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia; and a hint at the relationship between Chewie and an adorable Porg seabird from Ahch-To.

The Force Awakens came out in 2015 and people still haven't stopped talking about it. With J.J. Abrams behind the scenes as a writer, producer, and director, it was hard to ignore. Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, it was pretty exciting to move forward in time instead of backwards. Kylo Ren, who made quite an impression in The Force Awakens, seems to be back for good. For someone that idolizes his grandfather Darth Vader so much, he's a pretty impressionable bad guy. With all the cruelty he's already inflicted, it's nerve-wracking to imagine the damage he'll bring in The Last Jedi.

It's hard to believe that Star Wars is back for real, and trailers like this one make the return even more exciting after ten years of absence.

We still haven't learned much about the characters played by Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, or Benicio Del Toro, but that just means we have even more to look forward to come December 15th.

What do you think of this latest trailer? Is there even a chance Rey could turn to the dark side? Are Porgs adorable, or horrible? And who will win the Phasma-on-Finn fight? Let us know in the comments below!
