The Portalist is currently accepting original, previously unpublished work for publication. Read on for a rundown of what we're looking for, then submit your fiction or non-fiction using the form below. If your submission matches our vision, we'll reach out about publishing it.
What We're Looking For
The Portalist accepts previously unpublished content. We accept sci-fi and fantasy fiction, including short stories and chapters from longer works. We are not interested in full-length book manuscripts at this time. We also accept book and movie listicles, pop culture reportage, investigations into cryptozoology and the bizarre, as well as first-person essays. Your submission must be previously unpublished to be considered for publication. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please let us know immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
