Robert Greene II is assistant professor of history at Claflin University. He is also interim Senior Editor of Black Perspectives, the award-winning blog of the African American Intellectual History Society, and the Publications Chair for the Society of U.S. Intellectual Historians. Dr. Greene is also co-author of Invisible No More: The African American Experience at the University of South Carolina.
In 2021, he was named one of “12 Black Leaders to Know” by The Post and Courier newspaper. Finally, Dr. Greene has also written several journal articles and book chapters and has been published in magazines and newspapers such as The Washington Post, Politico, The Nation, Dissent, Jacobin, Oxford American, In These Times, and elsewhere.
